I know how you feel wanting more more more, but in addition to the new character stories being put in, there will also be a number of different play-styles that the levels will be attuned for. Right now we have a piece of Arthurs story available, and a portion of the base-game, which for EA standards is a pretty decent chunk of gametime, around 20 hours if you take the time to explore and finish available quests.

I would suggest starting new playthroughs in the version available now, because when the game get's a full release it's going to have a number of different character stories to play through.
